Brooks Wear Testing Program

Recently, HURT was approached by Brooks Running exploring the possibility of enlisting some Hawaii runners to participate in their wear testing program. The Brooks Run Research Team is looking for more trail testers and they mentioned the phenomenal support the HURT Trail receives. They highly encourage members of our running community to apply, as it would be great to send free product to potential testers and gather some feedback on their products. John Salmonson, the principal founder of the Hawaiian Ultra Running Team (HURT), peacefully passed away on February 1, 2023. While HURT mourns the loss of our leader, we will carry on his vision and deliver it with all our passion. With heavy hearts, we will hit the trails, carrying all the wonderful memories of John with us on our journey.

Peacock Challenge Trail Races, 10/15/22

Peacock Challenge trail races are on October 15, 2022. Deadline to register is October 10. And the deadline to register so that your T-shirt size is guaranteed is September 18. Also, we are looking for volunteers on race day to help with various tasks such as course marshals and aid station support. Please read on to signup for the race or volunteer!
