John Salmonson, the principal founder of the Hawaiian Ultra Running Team (HURT), peacefully passed away on February 1, 2023. While HURT mourns the loss of our leader, we will carry on his vision and deliver it with all our passion. With heavy hearts, we will hit the trails, carrying all the wonderful memories of John with us on our journey.
Peacock Challenge Trail Races, 10/15/22
Peacock Challenge trail races are on October 15, 2022. Deadline to register is October 10. And the deadline to register so that your T-shirt size is guaranteed is September 18. HURT100 Lottery Application Begins
All interested runners must read the Book of HURT and complete the race application to be included in the lottery on August 20, 2022. The application will open on July 26, 2022, and close at midnight (HST) on August 7, 2022. Read on for more information.
