Kaʻena Point Firecracker Preview Run, 6/24

Come join us on Saturday, June 24, at 7:30am at Kaʻena Point Trail in Waialua for a preview of the upcoming 2023 Kaʻena Point Firecracker trail race!

All trail abilities are welcome. We will lead a full circuit of the 9.75 mile out-and-back race course at a moderate pace. You may run faster, slower, or shorter; you won’t get lost!

You can pause to visit the bird sanctuary at the tip of Kaena Point on your way back to the start, or you can just run out to visit the bird sanctuary and then return to the start for 5 miles. Take a dip in the ocean to cool off after your run!

When you arrive, park along either side of the paved road. Please carry at least 20 oz. of water: there is no water on the course. We also recommend a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Pets are prohibited.
