This Saturday is one week before the Maunawili Out and Back Trail Race of the H.U.R.T. Trail Series.
Some people were complaining the trails were too dry so it has rained pretty good over the last 12 hours or so. Enough to keep the dust down anyway.
Other people were complaining about the distance being too short so that is why this post is entitled Maunawili Trail Repeats.
The start time for training on Saturday will be 6:00 a.m. at the Pali Lookout. Don't be late! There will be some water and aid stashed at the far end of the trail as long as some of you gave Cheryl $5 or $10 as Don suggested last week.
Be nice to hikers on the trail. Some of them are lost. They like to take the long way to Maunawili Falls.
The finish time will be determined by how many repeats you want to do.
Watch for Pigs. Oink-Oink!!
Remember, one way is 11 miles. Round trip is 22 miles. You can always just do a portion–and out and back of what is comfortable for you. 22-mile repeats are optional. Don't forget your electrolytes.
