Runners, Volunteers, and Supporters,

What a day on the trails! Jacque and I are still riding the high from another incredible Wa’ahila Wanderer’s race, and we just have to take a moment to celebrate all of you who made it happen.

To our runners — you absolutely showed up this year. Whether you were chasing a PR, conquering the course for the first time, or just out there for the love of the dirt, we love watching you tackle steep climbs and technical descents with gusto (and the occasional swear word). You are the heartbeat of this race, and we are so proud of each and every one of you – no matter how many times you curse the ascent out of Manoa.

And to our volunteers — where do we even begin? You are the magic behind the curtain. The early morning setup and sign-ins, the course marshals keeping everyone safe, the photographers capturing every moment, and the timers making sure every finish gets recorded — you gave up your Saturday so others could race, and that kind of generosity means everything. This event does not happen without you. Full stop.
