Dr. Bill and Umstead
As everyone by now knows, he rocked! I didn't get to chat with the other HURT folks but spoke with Dr. Bill for a while. He said they did great and were right behind him.
The nights were a little colder than expected but he endured, came prepared and also increased his electrolytes plus a few Advil. Now he is a 100 mile finisher!
And of course as other ultrarunners will attest, kept a close watch on his watch to remain no less than 10 minutes off pace overall. He appreciates all the support from everyone out here, and is very proud of his accomplishment!
