Alex Papadopoulos finished his first 100 mile race this past weekend at the Massanutten Mountain Trails 100. His time was 31:37:30. Great job Alex!
This race is held in the George Washington National Forest in Virginia. The race has a tough reputation for the rocky terrain.
Alex lived in Hawaii over the last several months on a temporary assignment. While he was here, he participated in several H.U.R.T. events and training runs. Alex was hoping the training he did on the H.U.R.T. course would help him in his first 100 mile run. Based on results, I would say the training in Hawaii worked.
