Tantalizing Tantalus Trail Race, 7/24/21

Tantalizing Tantalus is our other newest trail race for those looking for a technical and challenging trail half marathon. Starting from Makiki pumping station, Tantalizing Tantalus Trail Half Marathon takes you to Jackass Ginger trailhead where you will turn around after crossing Nuʻuanu stream. The beautiful course greets you with lovely roots, rocks, mud puddles, streams, hills, hills… and hills with a total elevation gain of 3,690ft (1,125m).

Join us for the inaugural Tantalizing Tantalus trail race on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Registration opens at 6:30 am on July 8. The deadline to register is Tuesday, July 20, at 11:30 pm.

A few items to keep in mind:

  • COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place
  • The trails are open to the public so please be courteous to other outdoor enthusiasts on the course
  • Participants are required to carry water.

The trail series race registrations will be handled through hurthawaii.com. And in order to register for a race, you will have to create an account at hurthawaii.com.
