Huge Weekend for Racing, Pacing, Cheering, and Supporting – October 11-12, 2014

Aloha Athletes:

Rosie and Steve are off on an epic adventure, so I am filling in for blog posts for a bit.  Big shoes to fill, but I am going to give it my best effort.

There will be no organised trail training run for the H.U.R.T. family because so many people are spread around the globe this weekend.  Peacock 100K/50K begins on Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m.  Rob Lahoe has been working hard to put on this very challenging race and many of the H.U.R.T. runners will be braving the course.  For more information, go to http://www.peacockultra.com/.

Many Hawaii folks will be toeing the start line of the Chicago Marathon.  You can see more information here:Chicago Marathon

Finally, the Big Dance in Kailua-Kona will get underway for many H.U.R.T. runners on Saturday.  You can see information here: Ironman World Championship
