Saturday Training (with a Friday Option), 11-11-06
HURT runners are working hard to fit in training whenever they can. I know of at least one runner who is going to do 40 miles on Friday after not being able to get his 40 in last week.
For many of us, after last week’s 40 miler, we are offering up something a bit shorter for this week. Also you have options, Friday or Saturday. Hopefully the trade winds will stay and it will remain a bit less humid. So here’s your training options. Choose your pain, I mean plan!

Meeting time: 11:50 am
Starting time: 12 Noon
Meeting place: The mauka end of Manoa Rd. just before it narrows, as it heads back into Paradise Park. Park on the street and please be quiet as this is a residential neighborhood.
Training: One HURT loop, with an optional over and back to Nuuanu
Distance: up to 32 miles
Duration: 6 – 9 hours.
Stash: Water & Gatorade in Nuuanu. Water at the Nature Center
Bring: Water & other nutritional aid for your own use at the start/finish.

Starting time: 6:00 am
