Saturday Training 10-22-05

Aloha Athletes !

Although most everyone who plans to enter the HURT Trail 100 Mile Endurance Run on January 14-15, 2006 has already begun training in earnest, this Saturday’s Training run will start training specifically for next January’s race. We will be doing a lot of HURT loops and variations of the HURT 100 race course. Even if your plans only involve pacing, it would be an excellent idea to come out and join us, from time to time, and especially for the limited night training runs.

Saturday Training "HURT Loop"

Meeting time: 5:50 am

Starting time: 6:00 am

Meeting place: Hawaii Nature Center lower parking lot

Training: 1 HURT loop

Distance: 20 miles

Duration: 5-7 hours

Bring:*Enough water bottles or Camelbak to get you thru each of the 3 water stashes (approx. 7 miles apart) and bring trail food for the duration. *PLEASE e-mail me at to let us know you will be there so we can stash water and Gatorade for you.
