Pali Hwy, Hairpin Turn Parking-Caution

Just want to remind anyone joining us this Saturday (7/9/05) and parking at the Hairpin turn on the Pali Highway, that cars do occasionally get broken into at this location.

We often times park at the Pali Lookout for this reason. However, even the Pali Lookout parking area has a high number of break-ins. The last time we started at the Pali Lookout, a HPD officer warned us of this problem.

Unfortunately, we have a small number of people who create a negative atmosphere for the rest of us. So, I hope this does not discourage anyone from coming out running–just beware and don’t leave any valuables in your car.
