2008 HURT 100
Welcome to the information page for the HURT 100 Mile Endurance Run on January 19 and 20. The race starts on Saturday at 6:00 a.m. Hawaiian time (-10H GMT) . There is a 36 hour time limit and all racers must be off the course by 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
The course consists of 5 times around a 20 mile loop. HURT Course Map. The course has very little flat sections and runners are usually running either up or down a hill. Additionally, the trails are covered with lots of roots and rocks. Course Elevation Profile.
There are three aid stations. The first aid station is at Paradise Park in the back of Manoa Valley. The second aid station is at Jackass Ginger in Nuuanu Valley and the third aid station is the start/finish at the Hawaii Nature Center in Makiki Valley. The distance between each aid station is between 5.4 and 7.3 miles.
