Saturday Training 7-15-06

Aloha Athletes !

Fun was had by all at last Saturday’s "Garden to Pali Lookout" multiple-loop training run, on a beautiful, warm day. The group was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Vernon Char, who came out and brought water and goodies for 2 of the loops. What a great friend ! Thank you "The Vern !"

With a large number of HURT folks going to the mainland for races this weekend, the trails should seem almost deserted this Saturday. For those of you who can make it out this Saturday, the group will be returning to the Maunawili Trail, for an out-and-back from Pali Lookout to Waimanalo. Rex and Kat will be leading the group.

Starting time: 6:00 am

Meeting Place: Pali Lookout parking lot

Training: Pali Lookout down to Maunawili Trail and over to Waimanalo. Return.
